Photobook | Ideas on Paper
This is a shop in Nottingham (Cobden Chambers), with numerous phonebooks, journals, and magazines. I looked through a selection of books to gather inspiration for my own, finding interest in: Cereal, Soccer Bible, Drift. These books/magazines show spectacular images with a simple and minimalist presentation, something which I want to establish in my own work. Also the shop as a whole expresses the culture of Nottingham, showing how photography and art is such a powerful subject with plenty of different elements and styles to show them off. I have taken this inspiration, to develop my style of photography to a more minimal style, overall creating appealing images, to the styles I enjoy and want to succeed.
