Second Idea
Plagiarism
Due to falling out of love with my previous idea, I came up with a new one, focussing on taking a different approach to a photo book, by only using one main image.
The book will be in a standard book format, but will depict one whole image spilt into 20 different images on 20 pages, never seeing the full image. This will hopefully create 20 different images, with different characteristics, causing the audience to keep guessing on what connects the images together. Each image would be small, around 3cm, allowing a varied amount of images to be created.
Each image would be centre of the page, creating a thick white border around each image. This makes each image a lot of space within each page, creating subtlety and a minimal style on the page.
The main image would be a interesting/busy image, with contrasting elements in parts (beauty/ugly, sky/ground, people/buildings). This will give a variety of images to create, developing an overall image through the audiences imagination.
The title of the book, shows how copying one thing over and over again, will therefor create something new, but will eventually bring itself together when together.
